Breaking my X boycott to say that while I rooted for Geno, he was barely a league average hitter and is PROBABLY on the decline, and while the return isn't great, this is probably a wash for the Mariners. Other than Dipoto-doubting (which, yeah), I don't get the pessimism.

Getting a MLB ready 25 y/o outfielder with a 1.065 ops in AAA, a rising middle infield prospect who put up a 1.008 ops in AA, and a 2B/3B/OF coming off a 3 WAR season last year with 3 more years of club control for a 33 y/o reliever is great value no matter how you look at it

I am so tired of fighting with our insurance. My 3 yo has a hernia and is having surgery on Friday. Our insurance denied it because they need to follow up with his employer to make sure it’s not a work related injury.
