After just over 2 years since launching @1800D2C as a passion project to help eCommerce merchants find the best tools, I have sold my majority stake in the business to @thercwilliams! ๐ŸŽ‰

One of my friends sold his company for $50m... Then his next business failed. And then the next failed too. And the next... Then he built an $8-10m/year business. The path to success is rarely straight.

tech moats are an illusion. your real moat is the part of your brain no one else lived. your lived intuition, encoded into product, is your actual IP.

๐Ÿ”ฅ New @storetasker case study just dropped ๐Ÿ”ฅ Every year we pair thousands of brands to freelancers: Devs, designers, marketers. That's a lot of introductions. Yet we do it as a LEAN team. How? A lot of intelligent tech. And also an extremely high threshold about who we let into our network (<1% acceptance rate). With this: we make the right introductions, consistently. I've been pushing to get more case studies out (taking inspo from @adrianalfieri). And this one perfectly sums up our value in the world of fractional hiring for eCommerce. We hooked the team up at ONDO.com with a @ShopifyDevs developer in our network: Tyler. The result? โœ… A high-converting, refreshed website โœ… Faster site speed & better UX โœ… Customizations that boosted performance ๐Ÿ’ฌ "Tyler is great. Heโ€™s so professional, always sets expectations he can meet, and does his work to a high standard." โ€“ Jessie, ONDO This is why brands trust Storetaskerโ€”we donโ€™t just introduce freelancers. We introduce the right ones ๐Ÿ’ฏ Need Shopify experts that truly deliver? Letโ€™s chat. resources.storetasker.com/blโ€ฆ

good share @theandreboso
Every startup should have a section like this on their landing page. Itโ€™s clever because it addresses one of the biggest objections people have when theyโ€™re on the fence. You donโ€™t know how hard it is to use the product and you donโ€™t have time to figure it out. This is the kind of insight that comes from having many conversations with potential customers. Uncover their fears and find a way to counter them in your messaging.
