Looks like Linktree is allowed again, so here's mine - social media, Amazon wishlist, etc. You'll probably not use it, but it's nice to have it all in one place! linktr.ee/timboxall

When I became #disabled , I thought my #cosplay days were over. However, I turned my #wheelchair into an advantage as opposed to a burden, becoming more inventive and incorporating it into my kits. I was damned if I'd let my #MS get in the way of my pastime and helping raise money for charity. It can be hard to adapt to a new life with mobility issues, but with a little creativity, one can still carry one doing things you love!

Travelling on the train, this is what a #wheelchair user has to face - and that's after 5 other bikes were removed by the riders upon instruction by the conductor. I'm still stuck halfway in the aisle!

Disabled people are not "living off the state". Many are being kept barely above collapse by a system that already underpays, delays, reassesses, disbelieves and exhausts them. Cutting that further is not reform. It is cruelty.

If you take medication to ameliorate the effects of a chronic condition or #disability, you should never feel embarrassed, ashamed, or guilty. So much of society is geared to the ableist perception that taking medication is somehow inherently a weakness, or a sign of failure. Of course, there's then the quacks, oddballs, and snake oil salespersons who will insist their remedies are some form of cure all. Medications, drugs, and pharmaceutical treatments can make our lives as #disabled people bearable. It can even be the defining line between life and death for some. I suppose - in a very, very bizarre way - that I'm lucky to have been on medication since I was 12 (just #epilepsy then, before developing #MS) because it meant I never created the internalised ableism in which I would criticise myself for taking medication. Without my meds, my life would've been endless seizures (as evidenced by exactly that when I forgot to take them), so my child and adulthood have been easier, and indeed less dangerous to me and others. We aren't weak for taking medication. We're managing our lives in order to maintain some form of normalcy, and that's nothing to be ashamed of. To any of my disabled friends, dot listen to that ableism, and to those able-bodied who would cast aspersions I ask that you not be judgemental.

Nonsense #Tourettes is keeping me awake. Keep getting full upper body tics (like spasms) and saying bilge like "Teddys red monkey has happy peanuts". Driving me batty! ๐Ÿ˜‚

With the first anniversary of Mums death around the corner, and what would've been her and Dad's 58th anniversary today, I can help but think this is why I keep literally hearing her voice. Medically, I'm prone to visual and auditory hallucinations, but I keep hearing her saying "oh, that's interesting" or "will you paint that?" when I'm doing crafts. Unlike many of my hallucinations, it's not scary, just curious.

Christ, my tendonitis is twanging more frantically than a coked-up hillbilly with an electric cattle prod up his ass trying to play Flight Of The Bumblebee on his banjo.

JD Vance says Henry Nowak would still be alive if โ€œthe last few generations of Europeans had stood their ground against the mass invasion of migrantsโ€ If the Native Americans had kept out the invader scum like Vance, we wouldn't have to listen to this shit.

Hey Vance, maybe butt out of burbling rabble-rousing, ignorant, unwarranted criticism of the UK and stick to slathering yourself in guy-liner and humping furniture.

Got some people coming over to pick stuff up I'm selling and I'm bloody ticcing like crazy, probably because home is my "safe space". They're coming out rude and while I've advised them about it, it's still gonna be awkward

Iโ€™ve been an activist since the poll tax, and one lesson never changes: if they split us, they win. Please donโ€™t undermine other disabilities.

Dreamed last night that Ozzy Osborne was teaching me how to use the theremin on the top deck of the 700 bus to Brighton. Then woke myself up by belting out "I Gotta Be Me" (the Steve Lawrence version) at the top of my voice. open.spotify.com/track/7mDvnโ€ฆ

Always sad to see a favourite cosplay go, but I can't wear it any more due to being in a wheelchair. Still, I need the money, and at least it'll go to someone who can enjoy it rather than gathering dust at mine...
