OpenDay was a great day with our RoboCup Soccer robots! Still a long way to go before we're competing against FIFA champions though!
We don't claim that they're as good as @TheMatildas, but have a look at how great the #CIARI' #RedbackBots do at playing soccer! (Building 14, Level 11)

Thank you to our league's Executive Committee (Rico, Katie, and Rudi) for guiding the league for another year.
After two terms (7 years due to the pandemic), Rico must roll off of the Executive Committee. The league is incredibly thankful for his efforts pushing us forward!

@dutchnaoteam
decided who would make the semis. We led 1 - 0 at half-time, but went down 1 - 2 in a very back-and-forth game.

In additional amazing #RoboCup news for @rmitciairi RedBackBots, our 2nd year student, Tom Ellis, has been elected to the Organising Committee, which will see RMIT return to representation on the RoboCup Committees I stepped down in 2023 after 5 years of service. @RMITComputing
