Alyssa Matu photographed Inuit Elder Billy Ukutak demonstrating traditional Inuit land skills to UND/NSF researcher Timothy Pasch. Billy guided our entrepreneurship group through blizzard conditions outside Arviat and successfully hunted caribou while our group was on the land!
Our group set up camp at Maguse Lake, outside Arviat, Nunavut. It was truly wonderful to share so many perspectives and ideas about digital Arctic entrepreneurship in such a spectacular environment!
