AI is a marketing term that refers to data/compute intensive systems only a few companies can produce. It's not intelligent, it's not a sci-fi threat: these are sides of the same hype coin.
Overstating AI capabilities--for good or evil--is the best marketing these corps have.

The metaverse is not just dead, it never existed.
A recent report shows that the biggest metaverse platform, Horizon Worlds from Meta, had just 38 daily users, and made a comical $470.00 in total revenue.
Metaverse was valued at $13 trillion in 2021.
