If Kevin Guskiewicz goes to Michigan State, the headlines will read "Concussion expert leaves UNC after banging head against wall for four years." 🤕 It's difficult to keep a good Chancellor when the BoT, BoG, and NC Leg are actively trying to destroy UNC. 🤬

Many commentators say that vigilante groups are never the answer. But they clearly don't know about the masked Ecuadorian trio named “Acción Ortográfica Quito,” who roam the streets at night with one purpose: to correct all the spelling and grammar mistakes they find in graffiti.

Nice tribute to a great writer and intellect. His columns were delightful.
Henry wrote almost 200 articles for the Engineering column, having authored it in every issue since January–February 1991. Henry Petroski will be sorely missed. Read more Of Fenella Saunders' @fenellasaunders memorial of the late Henry Petroski: americanscientist.org/articl…

You may have heard about the recent shooting at UNC. My colleague, Prof. Zijie Yan, was murdered in his lab by a student that worked with him. He had two young daughters and they and Zijie's extended family are now in a very difficult financial situation.
