Another great win for my team today!!! # 8 💣 HR & tossed a few innings! Cardinal Mooney Varsity Cardinals were victorious against Conotton Valley 5-3 on Thursday. A home run to right field by Alexis McKinstry (2029) gave Cardinal Mooney Varsity Cardinals the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the first. In the bottom of the fifth, Cardinal Mooney Varsity Cardinals broke up the tie when Justice Paris (2028) doubled, scoring one run. Then a single by Lily Sardich (2029) followed to extend the lead to 5-3. McKinstry (2029) earned the win for Cardinal Mooney Varsity Cardinals. The reliever gave up one hit and zero runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking one. Paris (2028) stepped in the circle first for Cardinal Mooney Varsity Cardinals. The starting pitcher surrendered four hits and three runs over three and one-third innings, striking out five and walking none. M Kelley started in the circle for Conotton Valley. The pitcher surrendered five hits and three runs over three innings, striking out five and walking two. McKinstry (2029) provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Cardinal Mooney Varsity Cardinals with two runs batted in. The shortstop went 2-for-3 on the day.
