The next interface between the digital world and nature is being built now. As machines become more autonomous, they will need to understand the natural world they operate within. Not as scenery. Not as obstacles. As context. That missing layer is Nature Intelligence.

Apple don’t get enough credit for all the open source they do. The strategy for local AI is clearly laid out here. Great piece!

People are sleeping on this. Apps are an UX for humans, just like a webpage was, a bank teller, a phone book, etc. In a soon to be future the new UX will be voice/text input to an agent. This will blow up once everyone wakes up to how intuitive and frictionless this will be. Apple will be a major driver on this. There is still a place for native apps for content and social, but transactional UX will change. Stripe and other players in transactions are already gearing up for this. I think this will happen quicker that we think. Friction is a great barrier, and if it is removed behavior will change quickly.

The noice regarding ai slop is over blown in my opinion. I’ve never produced more quality code than now. I can refactor on the fly, make sure I have extensive code test coverage and run deep security reviews on each PR. Each one of these would often be deprioritized when I was constrained by how many lines of code I could muster in a day. Not to mention running continuous best practices reviews. Sure you could just be vibe coding all day with no idea what is going on, but all of us that take engineering seriously are leveraging this tech to the max and the quality of code released is staggering!

This view… coming back home to Sweden always feels so special. The connection with my home country is so strong. LA never felt that way, even after 25 years… ❤️🇸🇪

Been on the road for work for 3 weeks now and these single serve toothpaste’s made me think of one of my favorite movies: Fight Club.

The older, and hopefully wiser, I get, the more it feels like we are operating in a simulation. Just sat down to eat and after explaining what we do “we speak to animals” my server immediately referenced the game Dredge. It lets you use the language of creatures to talk to them? Been a long time since I gamed… but this game has me intrigued. Love the look n feel. store.steampowered.com/app/1…

Love serendipitous meetings. I was looking for a new coffee shop to work at here in Denver and Kaffe Åre popped up. Def thought it would have a Swedish connection. It did, and the owner of the shops here and in NYC, a fellow Swede, was maning the counter. So good to catch up with another entrepreneur that is also not afraid to roll up his sleeves.

Prime example why digital ai native music never will replace the real thing.

As a small startup you better be shipping faster than @linear and @AnthropicAI.

Very impressed so far, and have only used 2.5 Fast. 👌🏼
Introducing Composer 2.5, our most powerful model yet. It's more intelligent, better at sustained work on long-running tasks, and more reliable at following complex instructions. For the next week, we’re doubling the included usage of the model.

Sidewalks are less present in US suburbs, and so is walking… coincidence?

Thinking a lot about compounding knowledge inside a company. @tobi has framed this well. The unlock is not just AI tools. It is setting up the org so work compounds. Decisions. Context. Customer learnings. Product tradeoffs. Field notes. Captured. Connected. Used again. The operating system matters.

Deploying to a major airport next week. This week is the real founder work. Devices. Platform. Field workflows. Small details that won’t be small on site. Close to the product. Close to the customer. Close to reality. That is where the product gets better. One deployment at a time. 🦾🚀
