Pollen Robotics, a Hugging Face subsidiary, has open-sourced Amazing Hand, a 3D-printable, four-finger robotic hand with eight degrees of freedom (DoF).
Weighing 400g and costing less than $250 - it is designed for Reachy2’s wrist but adaptable to other robots.

Hugging Face has acquired a French robotics startup, Pollen Robotics, for an undisclosed amount.
The Reachy 2 robot, developed by Pollen, is an open-source and VR-compatible bimanual robot for advancing embodied AI, available to order at $70K.
Hugging Face, the leading platform for sharing and fine-tuning LLMs, is also building LeRobot - a platform for providing models, tools, and datasets for robotics AI. Hugging Face was valued at $4.5B in the last round.

I just learned of @SusanWojcicki 's passing. I will always remember her positive outlook and calming effect. She was my VP in the early days of AdWords, and I remember being nervous and surprisingly reassured when I presented to her.

Unbelievably saddened by the loss of my dear friend @SusanWojcicki after two years of living with cancer. She is as core to the history of Google as anyone, and it’s hard to imagine the world without her. She was an incredible person, leader and friend who had a tremendous impact on the world and I’m one of countless Googlers who is better for knowing her. We will miss her dearly. Our thoughts with her family. RIP Susan.
