over the past 76 days, our CTO has been building @KleePay at AI-era speed: 14 repos 3,910 commits 1.11M lines added 1.42M lines changed 51 commits/day on average from accounts, wallets, cards, and authorization primitives to cactus integration, GAAP migration, treasury, and redis caching, he compressed what used to look like months of engineering into one intense sprint. AI is changing the surface area of software faster than ever. we’re building accordingly.
AI agents are ready to act in the real world. Payments need a safer primitive. @KleePay lets agents initiate payments without handling a user’s personal card details, with every transaction bounded by spend limits, merchant scope, expiry, and local authorization. 🤖Join waitlist now: kleepay.ai

the best products don't compete for market share. they create new markets.

honestly, I think it was an accelerator, not the reason. leaving a comfortable path and going all-in mattered more lol, but environment compounds, being surrounded by ambitious ppl building every day definitely changed the pace of everything.
Replying to @tonychenAI
motivating, i have a question tho, would you say moving to singapore was the main thing for you? or all this would still have happened irrespective of the environment?

the last 3 months have been a little crazy for me. - left what many would consider a dream job at a top-tier VC - moved to Singapore - became an AI startup founder - quietly raised a few million dollars - built and shipped a beta product with my CTO in a matter of weeks that might have taken much larger teams months still feels like we're just getting started.

Hard agree that Human Token Capital is how people, companies and economies will win in an AI-first world Yes, AI will write code. Yes, agents will do more work. But the bigger shift is that every person and company can now turn the way they think and operate into software. Your judgment, your taste, your customer context, your workflows, your mistakes, your learnings — all of it starts compounding. Agents are not just workers They become memory for the business. And the best companies will be the ones where people and agents keep making each other better We internally are seeing the same shift in every department, context getting centralized, more tokens leading to more meaningful outcomes

every employee gets their own corporate card. every agent should too.

AI agents are moving from answering questions to taking actions, but the moment an agent needs to spend money, the stack breaks. you either give it raw payment credentials, which is unsafe, or you keep a human in the loop, which breaks automation. @KleePay exists for the third path, we are building the control layer between AI agents and real-world payments, agents should not hold card numbers, private keys, or open-ended financial authority. they should be able to request permission to spend, within clear rules: amount, merchant, time window, card, and workflow context. cards are the bridge. control is the product. agent payments are the category.

visa says stablecoins are 'reshaping the back end' of commerce as it expands AI, tokenization efforts. it confirms something we've been thinking about for a while: agentic commerce is not a payments problem, it's a delegation problem. the challenge isn't getting an agent to click "pay", the challenge is defining what an agent is allowed to do on your behalf before it gets there. every payment network was built around human intent, the next generation will need to support delegated intent. theblock.co/post/404376/visa…

The founder’s life: – Try something new. – Get punched in the face (repeat). – Pivot from the “brilliant” idea that failed. – Lose sleep, feel entirely alone. – Your runway is now negative. – Hear “no” 1,000 times. – Realize that nobody will save you. Keep going anyway.

Increasingly, I believe companies may need to be rebuilt from the ground up, where you have a single timeline of all observability product metrics file changes laid out in a retrievable system, like Datadog Posthog Google Drive Slack (really unified filesystem of Claude Code chats Codex chats). This might be the new data foundation for any and all companies to maximize AI. Needs to be rebuilt because keeping track of diffs on existing system basically impossible to produce longitudinal information on decisions and rollbacks, something coding agent storage companies are actively trying to figure out, but this should extend to businesses as a whole. Highly skeptical existing businesses will adopt this though because it means overhauling everything about their instrumentation and business data, but I think businesses built on this foundation probably can execute 100x better and faster

Not a coincidence.
Observation. @RedotPay is doing $391M/mo in crypto card volume. more than every competitor combined. Also, the only crypto card ranking page 1 on keywords that convert. SEO on high-intent keywords is unbeatable when the product solves a real problem. Not a coincidence.

It seems like LLMs could optimize coding style by exploring ways of structuring code so weaker and weaker models can still successfully perform tasks in a codebase. There are surely stylistic quirks that are peculiarly impactful to transformers, but I bet there would be a lot of overlap with human capabilities. Optimizing for understanding should help even the top frontier models, allowing them to understand things “at a glance” without having to explicitly explore. There will remain “better” and “worse” ways to code.

My dream for “agentic payments” is: - agent has a credit card number with funds that is locked - agent asks me for approval for the purchase and shows full details - I approve - card is unlocked and usable for 2 min - agent does the payment (enters card and pays) - card is locked and disposed of I approve every payment, all details are safe
