👏 This historic victory means that #Rosebank cannot go ahead without accounting for its enormous climate harm—and that the age of governments approving new drilling sites, by ignoring their climate impacts, is over. Not Good. Arctic soil is a carbon sink containing much more CO2 than is currently in the atmosphere. But now the permafrost thaw is releasing that CO2. Rapidly and perhaps uncontrollably.
We MUST limit warming if we hope to survive this.
