Meet Darren.
Darren Wargo is a TV camera operator for the Golf Channel. His job is to shoot highlights from a crane over 150 feet above the course each week on the PGA TOUR.
He will spend up to six hours at a time standing on a 6-foot wide circular platform. Don't worry, he's harnessed in at all times.
Darren brings a backpack full of supplies with him to the top. He brings a radio to communicate with his coworker on the ground, snacks, water, rain gear and extra layers in case it gets cold or windy.
He can be up there in winds up to about 30 MPH.
Every now and then a bird will land on the crane to say hello or to try and steal from food.
Bathroom breaks are non-existent. So using the bathroom before going up is a must.
Darren has been with the Golf Channel for 30 years and loves his job.
