Are there any AI app generators that do NOT use React / Next.js?

Could you imagine vibe coding a product, selling it to paying customers then not knowing how it works? 🤯

Has anyone ever got their Nest "smart" thermostats to do what you actually want? I've had them for a long time and I spend more time fixing what it thinks I want than I would just setting the damn things manually. I don't think it's ever got it right.

People talk about how Europe has no innovation, well counterpoint is games. By far the best games come out of Europe. Rockstar and CD Projekt make the best games by far, both out of Europe.

AI is going to kill open source. I've contributed to open source for decades with zero financial reward, but it did come with some sense of pride, accomplishment and some recognition. I got my first real job down in Silicon Valley because of it. But lately, I feel...

like it's not worth it because AI will just scrape it and you lose the recognition factor. If you're going to work for free, at the very least you should get some recognition for it right? AI is removing the recognition factor so then what's the point? Also, maintaining...

open source requires more work than just doing things behind closed doors. Your code needs to be clean, you need documentation, you need to respond to issues. No financial reward, additional work and no recognition == pointless. We need a new model.

Thinking of creating a little service called "fetch later" that will basically take a fetch, but perform it after some delay. I find myself wanting this with every project I work on, but it's a pain to set up. ie: fetchLater(url, {body, delay: 60}) Thoughts?

Searched for a domain name a few days ago, didn't buy it, noodled on it, went back to find it again, it's not available. No whois record. Finally found the answer on namecheap "reserved by registry Identity Digital". So the TLD owner is literally watching searches for their...
