In 2023, Indonesia were stripped of the under-20 World Cup for refusing to allow the Israeli team entry.
Fifa's justification then was the vague "due to the current circumstances".
Quite a contrast to the hardline "FIFA is not involved in host immigration processes" now.

Some very sad news.
Two-time Challenge Cup winning coach John Kear has passed away at the age of 71.
Kear made over 100 appearances for Castleford and coached West Yorkshire sides Wakefield, Batley and Bradford.
Our thoughts are with John's family and friends.

UK RL's ability to pick the worst PR story and run with it is unmatched.
The 56k at Wembley is bigger than all but one non-GF NRL game in 15 years.
By moving stadiums, you'd limit the attendance to 60k or less forever, not to mention binning off a century of tradition.

Checked all the major media outlets, the only people talking about the Wembley #rugbyleague attendance are us (oh and there weren't over 5,000 fans there supporting the 1895 Cup this time)
