Cognee is the original AI memory engine. Most "AI memory" is embeddings vibes. Real memory needs structure, self-improvement, and control, the same thing your brain needs. Econ Psychologist by training. Bootstrapped 1.5 years → backed by @pebble_bed github.com/topoteretes/cogne… youtube.com/watch?v=lQpmXvsr…

Run cognee instead Seems someone vibe-shipped memory server...
the supermemory-server is using more RAM idle (7.8GB) than my entire browser installed it last night. it has ~5MB of actual data. five megabytes → 7.8GB of RAM. not usable on a 24GB Mac. I was wondering why my system kept hanging, it was this. had to remove it :(

That didn't age well, fast.

just a small zoom out on the vibe shift: in Feb 2025 @soumithchintala was talking about his dream of personal, local, private agents, most people didn't believe him. it's June 2026 and @pewdiepie has just released his vibecoded @opencode wrapper that is a complete personal AI productivity suite including email, docs, and calendar. top of HN, easily >1m views, >10k stars in a day. if your Knowledge Work Agents startup can't beat pewdiepie you might as well pack up and go home at this point, his is the benchmark for what you can DIY.

This sounds like a great way to get things out for the next week and reduce redundancy
I spent the whole day today setting up integrations and skills in Codex for my top creator workflows. Now I'm convinced that you can save at least 50% of your time on any type of knowledge work if you just set up the system upfront. Note that all my workflows have human checkpoints along the way so I can apply my "taste." Anyway, it feels extremely liberating to have all this set up. If you want to do the same, just follow these three steps: 1. Reflect on your past week: - What work did you spend the most time on? - What work was the most repetitive? Pick your most painful, manual workflow to start. 2. List out every single step of that manual workflow. Be very detail oriented. 3. Open Codex (or Claude Code) and paste the list of steps from 2 and ask it "What integrations and skills can I build to streamline this with your help?" AI will guide you the rest of the way.

A self-growing wiki of Andrej Karpathy's public work: andrej-karpathy.com I created one simple place to consolidate all of Karpathy's stuff, like his essays, courses and GitHub projects. You can browse it like a normal wiki, or ask it a question. Every answer cites the underlying source and gets saved as a new page, so asking a question is the same as editing the wiki. I think it feels closer to Wikipedia than to a chatbot. This project is not affiliated with @karpathy and all material is public. The engine I created is a template, so you can point it at any topic and build your own wiki

Happy one of our clients is on board with ontologies! Especially important for semantic schemas!

Do agents dream of electric Dario Amodei and his post-labor visions?

Works like OpenClaw, kinda...
I always wanted a GitHub dashboard: See my repos, open Issues/PRs, what version I released last, how many commits since last release. So I built one for everyone. release.bar/steipete

Anthropic and OpenAI seem to have hired everyone
Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.
