Our #contractor story comes from Payments Due Lady...
I'm a full GC, but take small jobs for extra cash sometimes. Got contracted to knock off a punch list for a lady taking possession of a house. Nothing major just cosmetic repairs and maintenance.

Our very first #contractor story comes from Mr. Not So Nice Guy in Michigan...
Found a drywall company for some work I needed in 4 weeks. Met, took measurements & got a reasonably priced quote. Plus they seemed like nice folks to work with. We agreed on 2 weeks' notice to start

I thought this was nuts, especially since we had an agreement in hand and they gave me no heads up. So I had to delay my start to get other quotes. I learned that day you can't even trust nice guys.
