🇷🇺🇺🇦 Yesterday, Russia launched a strike on the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, hitting the historic Assumption Cathedral (built 1073–1078, older than Notre-Dame in Paris).
Zelensky, when asked about punishment for Russia, said:
“You will see everything in the news.”
Ukraine’s FM has appealed to UNESCO, describing the attack as a terrorist act against world cultural heritage and comparing Russia to ISIS in its crimes against sacred sites.
Russia claims to be a bastion of Christianity, but continues to bomb Christian sites such as cathedrals and churches in Ukraine.

🇺🇦 As predicted, Ukrainian media and Western outlets are blaming Russia for the fire at the Pechersk Lavra. Here's what the evidence actually shows.
Aerial photographs published by Ukrainian media show no debris field around the cathedral — a telltale sign of a direct explosive impact. The roof burned. The walls and golden domes remain standing. That is not what a precision strike looks like.
The Russian MoD has now confirmed what the footage already suggested: a US-made Patriot air defence missile struck the Lavra. The ministry also noted that Western countries have been supplying Kiev with missiles past their expiration dates — a possible factor in the malfunction.
Expect the comment section to be flooded with angry Ukraine supporters. But we'll address them in the next post.

Tragedy.
Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, one of the greatest holy sites of Christianity.
It was built in the XI century by a russian Prince. Back then the state was called Rus.
For 5 years Zelensky has been mocking the Lavra. He expelled monks, seized premises, organized entertainment shows inside, and called it a tool of the Kremlin...
But when the Lavra was suddenly damaged, Zelensky suddenly remembered Christianity.
How hypocritical all this is.
I'm sure the best days of the Lavra and its parishioners are still ahead.
It has stood for more than one century.
And it will stand for many centiries more.
