One day youâre gonna wake up and AAU basketball will be over. No more weekend tournaments, packed gyms, or team hotels. No more âone more gameâ next weekend.
One day youâll be out of eligibility for high school basketball. Then college basketball too.
And eventually, the thing that feels like your whole world right now becomes a memory.
So stop playing scared. Shoot your shot. Sprint the floor. Dive on the loose ball. Compete with confidence. Enjoy your teammates. Because one day youâll wish you could go back and play just one more game with them.
Fear and hesitation have ended way more careers than missed shots ever will.
Just something to think about.

Instead of showing a kid off because heâs so tall put him with some real âtrainers,â but you trying to be everyoneâs friend instead of doing whatâs best for the kid. Lol itâs sad to see people become a part of the system they once hated.

A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Nobody knows anything about the NBA Draft, including me. You donât know the kidâs background info & his medical history. Youâve never seen them practice, donât know their work ethic, havenât talked to their teammates, coaches (canât believe everything they say), strength coaches & trainers. You possibly have never seen them play in person. In addition, if you havenât watched a bunch of NBA games in person this season, you have no idea what translates to the league. Watching YouTube clips doesnât count. We are all just guessing. Some are educated guesses and some are just guesses. But, we are all guessing.
