If the new government is serious about addressing these challenges it must now support new international law on AWS to maintain meaningful human control - a principle the UK already subscribes to in its national policy.
9. Lead on regulating new weaponised technologies
The UK should seek to avert costly & destabilising arms races & get ahead of the risks inherent in such next gen military tech as cyber, AI, AWS, space-based, & bio weapons by promoting their effective, multilateral regulation.
