This woman stayed at one of the weirdest motels I’ve ever seen — and she kind of loved it. It’s an Expedia $56 special in Indiana, styled like a castle, with rooms above a gas station and convenience store. Downstairs there’s a pool table, games, and late-night snacks. It even had a random horse theme going on. She was on her way to handle some heavy family stuff in Chicago and decided to give herself the gift of novelty for her birthday weekend. She said the bed was surprisingly comfortable, though the concrete floors made every sound travel. She called it “some kind of loophole in the universe” — and honestly, I kind of get it. Have you ever stayed somewhere so weird it somehow worked?
