team cornering supply when difficulty is low is eerily similar to $TAO. premine there led to fundraise rounds that centralised the network into polychain and multicoin validators, and to this day both of these funds are gladly playing the extraction game. not a good sign for $PRL
Replying to @0xSrM3ta @prlnet
i also think it’s net bad if it’s the team cornering the supply, to get back to the btc comparison, it only worked because there was no team overhang. satoshi is never selling his coins and this is the key

this is incorrect. most consumer GPUs breakeven around 0.3-0.4$ per $PRL if they’re running random MatMuls, but vLLM inference mining will breakeven a lot higher. current prices motivate random multiplications, not inference.
It is impossible to distinguish between “random” or “useless” matrices and useful ones. That is a core part of the design. As more meaningful workloads are onboarded to the network, the economics should naturally discourage the use of random or non-productive matrices. In fact, mining with random matrices is already not profitable on most hardwares which we view as an indication that the shift to useful mining is slowly happening (there is no network metric that proves this, otherwise). Ultimately, it is a matter of time and adoption until it happens at scale. We actually view the current phase, where seemingly a significant portion of miners may not yet be performing useful work, as a feature rather than a flaw. It enables broader participation, distribution, and access for organizations beyond the AI industry, helping bootstrap the network before useful workloads become the dominant source of mining activity.

here’s some more bear porn for $PRL top 5 wallets hold 6.6% of the supply and have never sold a token. top 100 wallets hold >20% of supply this is centralisation at it’s finest imo
ok something very fishy going on with $PRL price is down >30% over the past week hashrate is up >20% imo this points to a likelihood of lower cost miners flooding the system. additionally, block time has been consistently below target - another sign that optimised miners could be adding significant throughput. it seems to me like this is happening in public and through mining pools too, for example Goldenpool’s H100 benchmark is >600Th/s, whereas the average hashrate on Alphapool over all pools and workers is around 120Th/s. someone seems to be gaming the system to corner a bunch of the supply early into the inflation cycle. the token not being too liquid is probably preventing a lot of adversarial price action - but price is still down >60% from ATH

if your validator is bound by the rpc nodes it trusts, it’s probably not much of a validator is it?

What’s more important: - The very existence and implementation of a fee switch, signaling intent to pass on revenue to token holders - The size of fee switch distributions/buybacks to make a real impact on the token
35% Existence of fee switch
65% Magnitude of fee switch

what would you rather do? bet on this $goat breakdown ending around here or slightly lower, or bet on this consolidation on $fartcoin to resolve upwards?

on one hand every dip got eaten before it became major supply redistribution, but on the other hand, no major dips is unsettling chart to bid. but i think we’re either in or approaching value zone for $fartcoin and $fwog

milady changed my life it sounds ghey, but it is true: putting on the milady pfp was a small turning point in my life to us miladys, you regular crypto native people are normies and normal normies are turbonormies. the main distinction between us is that you are still careful about what to post online and we are not. you are bound by societal constraints and fear of being judged by your peers and as such, your posts don't hit as hard once you put on the milady pfp, you are part of milady. when you are part of milady, you are one of us and you live under the protection of all other miladys. it frees you. with a milady pfp on, you are free to speak your mind and comment on the bizarre and strange things going on in the world without fear of judgement you are divinely protected currently, a floor milady costs 5.4 ETH. this is not the price of the nft. this is the price of YOUR freedom of mind. buy a milady, put it on as a pfp, take a deep breath and let your thoughts flow out freely milady

Picture this You go to the supermarket and buy a pack of band aids. On your way home, a man starts bleeding after he falls on the pavement. Desperate to cover up his scrape, he sees the band aids in your hand and says "I'll pay you double the price for those band aids". Thrilled, you hand over the packet of band aids and collect your bounty. The man's face transforms into cocky soyjak, as Gary Gensler emerges from behind to charge you with the sale of an unregistered security. It's over.
