Since I can do this now, and the Whitehouse just released an AI video detailing Teddy Roosevelt's martial pursuits while President, I thought I'd reprise something I wrote more than five years ago on another platform (Facebook). I was specifically addressing the Mark Zuckerberg (@finkd) family at the time. But it applies to ALL elite families, including the Trumps: So, I've been thinking about a "class" of people we shall call children of privilege. Since this is Facebook (and now I'm MOSTLY just copy/pasting onto X), let's make it about Mark Zuckerberg's kids. Not **specifically** about the Chan-Zuckerberg kids but about they're future, as well as that of the progeny of any of our other tech-oligarch elites. Do you feel an obligation to serve the nation that gave you the opportunity to be one of the wealthiest men in the history of the world? Will your kids? Pshaw, you might say. Rich kids don't do things like join the military, why should they? What does that tell us about what you're teaching your kids vs. how "rich kids" of yesterday were raised by parents such as...oh, let's pick our 26th President Teddy Roosevelt? In addition to losing his youngest son Quentin KIA in World War I, another of his sons Ted, Jr. (actually III but known as junior in relation to his father the President) had begun training with a lot of other "rich kids" as soon as war broke out in Europe and was one of the first officers to deploy when the US declared war in 1917. He commanded at both the battalion and regimental level. He was gassed at Soissons in addition to other injuries and received the United States' 2nd highest decoration for valor, the Distinguished Service Cross. In addition to Quentin (KIA) Ted's other brothers Kermit and Archibald served with distinction & valor. All three surviving brothers would continue to be active in the Guard and Reserves after the war and would serve in senior leadership positions during the Second World War. Ted, after refusing orders to look after his health was the only general to assault the beaches of Normandy from the sea, with his troops. His son Captain Quentin Roosevelt II (named for his KIA uncle) also landed on the beaches that day. BG Ted Roosevelt took it upon himself to reorganize scattered and confused units in order to break out from the beach, all while unarmed and using a cane to walk. Years later, legendary Five Star General Omar Bradley was asked to recall the single most heroic action he had ever seen in combat. His answer was short and only five words "Ted Roosevelt on Utah Beach." Only about a month after D-Day Ted Roosevelt died of a heart attack - remember his superiors were very worried about his health. The man literally drove himself to his death in service to his country. After what would have been his second Distinguished Service Cross award was upgraded, the Medal of Honor was awarded posthumously that September. In addition to Quentin II (who saw last saw his father on the same day he died) Ted, Jr's. other two sons also served with distinction. Do any of our current "elite" and their families feel this same sense of duty or is it anachronistic in 21st century America?

Stop being ignorant!
It was never about lethality, warrior ethos, winning wars or whatever catchphrase. Pete Hegseth is a hateful loser, who wants to erase anyone who isn't a straight white man who votes for Trump. He's weakening and disgracing our military to do so.

My LORD, the race baiters and the gullible are really out in force today. And, sadly, they include the sitting governor of Maryland! 😳
Daniel "Chappie" James Jr. flew 101 combat missions in Korea and 78 in Vietnam. He stared down Qaddafi at an air base in Libya. He became the first Black four-star general in the history of the United States military. Ronald Reagan called him "a truly great American." Florida named a bridge after him. Pete Hegseth took down his portrait from the Air Force Art Gallery and left the wall empty. Colonel Gerald Curry passed that painting every day for more than a decade on the way to his office. He is writing a leadership book based on James's service. When the portrait came down, he said it "really, really hurt." Shortly after, he retired. Clint Smith interviewed two dozen currently serving, retired, and civilian Black military members for this piece. Person after person described the same thing: promotions blocked or delayed, senior Black and female officers dismissed, Confederate monuments restored, books about Black service members removed from military libraries, affinity groups disbanded. One training instructor described her team manually striking out passages about accomplished Black service members from educational materials - by hand, page by page. Hegseth at Quantico told 800 generals and admirals it was acceptable to "put hands" on subordinates and promised their records would be kept clean if they faced discrimination complaints. A retired Army officer told Smith his fear plainly: "If Pete Hegseth and the current administration had their way, you wouldn't see any of us in key leadership positions. I think the whole idea is to eliminate as many of us as they can, take us back as far as they can." Chappie James's words are engraved on his tombstone at Arlington: "This is my country and I believe in her." The Pentagon took down his portrait. His words are still there.

I realize there's a huge per capita difference but just as many Californians live in North Dakota as do South Dakotans! 🤣
1,000 Hawaiians living in NoDak is kinda funny.

It's also some "avant garde" designer's vision of a "GREEN" monument. IOW it appears to be a monument to nothing more than the desiger's ego.🙄
This looks like they tried to create the starship Enterprise with grass and warehouse pallets and then threw some bricks down. What am I SUPPOSED to be looking at here? How does this at all reflect the GWOT?

Your European mind should try to conquer Meat Mountain while you’re here, Freddy
This is the most “The European mind can’t comprehend this” moment of my life. One of my friends said, “Punch me five times tomorrow and I’ll still think this isn’t real.”

You know, not sure why it never hit me before. But watching just a few clips from this morning's hearing, it's clear the @splcenter is an EXTREMIST organization whose leadership DISCRIMINATES against others and foments violence against others based on nothing more than their IMMUTABLE characteristics. But, almost unbelievably, it actually creates FALSE FLAG "hate listings" because of the THREAT it perceives from those organizations and individuals in actually ending what the SPLC always said was its end-goal. The SPLC is EVERYTHING it claims to be against and more. It deserves the same fate as all the other Democrat armed ops like... KKK BLM ANTIFA SDS The Weathermen 100% on brand for the Party of Slavery - gotta keep that Hate Industrial Complex fed somehow. Otherwise it would just implode on its own.

I'm a Johnny-Come-Lately to the Hunter Biden ratio but I am 100% down for it!

Hello Mr. Hunter Biden, You're getting six-digit likes on every post lately. I don't have any hope to ratio you or whatever through traditional "Hello" means. But for those uninitiated, those who are captivated by your fake-humble persona obviously PR-engineered to capture unsuspecting disaffected Republicans: You are not some humility, witty guy turning over a new leaf. You are the ultimate proof of nepotism, everything that the so-called "Epstein Class" is supposed to represent. Let me explain - off the top of my head. You were a board member of USGLC. U.S. Global Leadership Coalition. The most powerful NGO that nobody's ever heard of. Last year, I documented in several threads, how Liz Schrayer, USGLC lead, took credit for ramming through a 90 billion dollar bill for Ukraine in 2024, even as @mattvanswol demonstrated that Western North Carolina got zero help in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene because FEMA threw up their hands and said they ran out of funds. USGLC, arguably, is the most powerful NGO that nobody has ever heard of. It includes a bunch of corporations, a bunch of nonprofit leads, and ... for some magical reason, I documented, extensively, linked, that Liz Schrayer started pursuing you in 2012. During the Obama years, when you were Biden's son. Are you a former Secretary of State? No. Are you a CEO of a Fortune 500 company? No. That puts you below the average USGLC board member, by a good tier. So what DID get you on USGLC? The only reason: that you were the son of a sitting Vice President known for corruption, and you yourself were known for corruption. You are not "folksy." You are the worst of the worst of the elite. Most of the elite, at least, get their credentials through Georgetown/George Washington/Harvard Kennedy. You got yours purely on nepotism. Any photographs you have of yourself at motels is proof that you are so incompetent that you waste all your money, not that you come from humble beginnings. Because others like @MarcoPolo501c3 have thoroughly documented that you benefited a great deal from your nepotism. You even tried to bait those in with saying you prefer to keep immigration "legal" - but we all know the trap that keeps illegal immgrants here: outlaw deportations, and make every immigrant case "asylum", and magically, everyone who might've been here illegally a few years ago is legal. You may get 175K likes on your semi-subverting, PR-designed photographs. But those of us who know, know you're fake. x.com/DataRepublican/status/…

Hey @Elon you're account reporting feature is wholly inadequate. It seeks to strictly limit the "impersonation" being reported to either me -OR- another X user, which it insists I name. I am trying to report a new Nigerian account apparently impersonating a US female soldier but there is LITERALLY no box I can check to indicate such. I tried to go a couple of different routes but no luck. THIS(!) is the account in question. @EvelynWillqf Your support folks need to account for this type of impersonation ASAP (it is the equivalent of Stolen Valor). Personally, I was temporarily fooled once last year by this type of account. You need to open up a "stolen valor" channel in your "report this account" function. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely Scott F Reardon a/k/a Mark Ratner

When I was a little kid I wondered why all the schools in TV programs (see below) all looked the same. It wasn't until my one and only, disastrous freshman year there that I realized nearly all of them were filmed at USC 🤣Room 222 Theme song and opening video with Karen Valentine youtu.be/pcaUluahdwM?si=-GjH… via @YouTube

It's not TRUE unless and until Generation Jones is properly recognized. 😉 We were the first to do battle with the Boomers...and we were doing it practically from the moment we could crawl. You want to find a GOOD Boomer, get to know a Vietnam veteran. I'm blessed to know a sh**-ton of them (Desert Storm and GWOT too).
It’s funny because it’s true. Don’t kill the messenger, I love that boomers have got that dawg in them.

I admit, it's sometimes difficult to keep up with which #MouthWhore is being pimped out by which Leftist billionaire and/or billionaire's ex wife. So, note to each #MouthWhore, if I've misidentified your billionaire or billionaire's-ex-wife pimp, please accept my sincerest apologies. It's difficult to keep up with which @MouthWhore is being pimped by which billionaire nowadays.
