#WATCH | Nashik, Maharashtra: On 59 officers completing courses and 25 being awarded Flying Wings, Goc-in-C, Army Training Command, Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, says, “At the Combat Army Aviation Training School (CATS), 59 of our officers have graduated. Of these, approximately 25 officers have earned their wings following their Basic Flying Training…the event today marks their graduation ceremony. This occasion serves to demonstrate how the Indian Army comprehensively prepares its officers for the battlefield and for operational deployments. The Combat Army Aviation Training School imparts training over 3 months, providing its pilots with basic, advanced, and combat-specific training…over the span of approximately 23 years, we have trained 1,794 officers. Among them, we have trained about 20 women officers. We have also provided training to officers from friendly foreign nations…when CATS was first established, it offered approximately 3 courses. As of today, that number has increased sixfold, with 18 different courses currently being conducted.
