Our CEO, @jonsid just returned from an incredible trip to Japan for the newly signed partnership between our friends at OpenAI & Hitachi. It's clear, we're in the next era of the AI race & global collaboration is imperative to unblock bottlenecks. With this partnership OpenAI will work with Hitachi's energy & power grid operations, cooling equipment, storage, & its digital solutions hub, Lumada. Turing is here to proudly support the data pillar of AGI infrastructure & enterprise AI solutions. Historic moment.

Big day. Congrats to our partners @servicenow on Apriel-1.5-15B-Thinker. An open-weight multimodal reasoning model delivering frontier performance with a fraction of the compute. Built with FastLLM & a novel 3-stage pipeline (depth upscaling, staged continual pretraining, high-quality SFT), no RL required. Scoring 52 on AAI and topping 4B–40B peers on IFBench & TauBench Turing is proud to provide the data & partner with ServiceNow, @ServiceNowRSRCH, Srinivas Sunkara, @sagardavasam, @carnaticfiddle, @tscholak & @RajeswarSai to power this research.
SLAM Labs presents Apriel-1.5-15B-Thinker 🚀 An open-weights multimodal reasoning model that hits frontier-level performance with just a fraction of the compute.

ServiceNow just announced Apriel-1.5-15B-thinker and it is on par with Deepseek-R1-0528, a model ~40 times it’s size! ➔ Frontier model capability on a single GPU ➔ It is also the best reasoning model under 50 billion parameters This is a great example of how Turing collaborates with AI labs to create highest quality post training datasets to build the best models. Looking forward to more collaborations with ServiceNow.

At Turing we're actually creating a benchmark for coding that's even harder than SWE-bench.
This Friday TWiST episode will make you MUCH SMARTER about AI, hiring, and neuroscience! Join @Alex for chats with a trio of incredible founders. 👉 Dr. @dr1337 of @CorticalLabs teaches us about his commercial biological computer, which runs on living neurons! 👉 @TuringCom founder @jonsid unpacks how we benchmark LLMs, and why the tests need to get MUCH HARDER. 👉Young @brendanfoody tells us how @Mercor_AI uses advanced tech to make hiring less obnoxious. It’s THREE incredible talks with founders from some of our favorite TWiST 500 companies.

Meta’s $15B investment in ScaleAI highlights the importance of data partnerships for advancing AGI. At Turing, we remain fully neutral, serving all frontier models equally. Excited to continue to serve as a trusted research accelerator to all AI labs in need of high quality data to train their models. If you want to keep advancing in coding, reasoning, agentic workflows, multilinguality, and multimodality (audio, video, vision, and computer use agents), come talk to us @turingcom. The AGI race is on. 🚀

GPT-4.1 and GPT-4.1 mini just landed in ChatGPT—and they’re faster, sharper, and better at code and instructions. This update isn’t just a performance bump—it’s a peek at where the future of agentic and multimodal AI is headed. As models get stronger, the challenge shifts to getting them into real-world products quickly and safely. That’s where Turing comes in—we help AI labs and enterprise teams build with speed and confidence, from training and evals to launch 🤖🚀
14 May 2025
By popular request, GPT-4.1 will be available directly in ChatGPT starting today. GPT-4.1 is a specialized model that excels at coding tasks & instruction following. Because it’s faster, it’s a great alternative to OpenAI o3 & o4-mini for everyday coding needs.
