Why you should never take someone's feedback for granted. This applies to a lot of deal making situations in live. Someone could see halo or horns depending on their biases or as simple as having eaten a bad lunch beforehand.
The same investor will react differently to the same idea based on how hot a deal you are and how much they like your personality. If you're not a hot deal and they don't like you, they'll look for reasons to hate the idea.

After a long time of using Arc I finally gave @diabrowser a go and what a delight it is. Spaces, vertical tabs, brilliant and smooth UX. Don't really care for AI chat in a browser though. Worth a switch if you're still Arc'ing.

just so you know; the design X community celebrates the most unemployable version of design.

The obvious path for designers in the AI age is to move closer to code. But the more valuable path may be upstream: closer to the customer, the business, and the problem. If everyone can prompt agents to code, the scarce skill becomes knowing why, what, and how to build.

We are some (long) time and a multitude of automated basic tasks away though
Genuinely can't wait for AI to take my job away. The future where AI can do design and strategy job well is nothing short of awesome!

Same applies to taking a job that might limit your future prospects. Never stop learning new things and improving self.
If you skip some or all of college to start a startup, it's on you to develop your mind the way college would have. And that's not something that happens by default in most startups.

To all men who survived rock bottom, what’s one piece of advice would you give a man who feels like giving up right now

Figma as an almost 10B valuation company not being able to buy a Figjam.com domain for one of their key products is baffling. I've seen that random page that someone else owns way too many times now

Is there a good alternative to Linkedin besides X?
X is sufficiently capitalist where it is valuable to post & build a reputation here (unlike reddit or 4chan), but not so capitalist that it drains your soul like Linkedin. It’s perfect.

Accurate. Linkedin had always been about performative posting and made up stories.
Replying to @nikitabier
I don't think the problem with LinkedIn is that it's too capitalist, but more that it's too middle-management.

While I miss the old Twitter days, X has recently improved its algorithm so well that finally it's easier to connect with genuinely interesting people again.
