I’ve done a lot of simulation around #SALAD and contaminated airway management, but I’ve never seen anything like what @UNMEMSA paramedics students get to do.
Taking training to the extreme so that real-life seems easy in comparison.

#ECG at presentation is a WORKING diagnosis, final diagnosis has to be corrected upon angiography.
An important step towards the occlusion myocardial infarction era recognizing the underlying pathology in these patients.

The #BloodonBoard initiative initially rolled out on May 10 starting w/ Trooper 1 and Trooper 2. So far, blood has been transfused in the field to 21 critically injured patients. Patients who have received blood transfusions have been injured as a result of many types of trauma.

There as been no statistically significant change in card arrest deaths under 35, ever.
