Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad is the largest & busiest all-volunteer rescue squad in Virginia Beach, providing prehospital care all day, every day.
We’re keeping an eye on blood donations because of a recent steep drop in appointments. There’s an immediate and urgent need for more donors to help meet the need. Please make an appointment as soon as you can at rcblood.org/appt.

It’s always uplifting to hear words of gratitude from someone we were able to help — especially when time is critical. Captain Jim Ingledue and MFF Francisco Medina truly went above and beyond, coming to the rescue for Ms. Thames and her mother on her such an important day as her mother's graduation from Regent University.
Captain Ingledue and MFF Medina were true heroes who saved the day through their kindness, professionalism, and commitment to service. Thank you both for once again exemplifying the “VBFD Way!”
