I put my entire life into Cardano. My time, my expertise, my savings. I’ve literally gone all in, and for over 5 years now. No salary for 3 years, along with my co founder, and every payroll was paid on time. This isn’t meant as a guilt trip just context towards my reality. I forced my cofounders to envelope the ‘entrepreneur mindset’ and make sacrifices to make our vision of Anvil work. I thought we were in good company in Cardano. A bunch of scrappy, smart people who are building the future financial rails of the world. Unfortunately, not everyone was living like starving entrepreneurs and looted our community/treasury while keeping cushy salaries. Now the price is in the teens…and we can’t even get contracts on Cardano to sustain our business, with no indication that change is coming, all community business proposals are not passing atm. I gave up my 30s for this. I had a great career trajectory making solid money. I don’t regret the decision I just wish it went different. Believe it or not, we didn’t make many stupid decisions, we were responsible with salaries, and ran very lean operations. Did we fail? Or did Cardano fail to flourish and create real opportunity? I bought Ada, I believed in the token. I dropped my 401k on it. Held it religiously for 5 years, all to sell at .16 so I don’t lose my house? It’s insane lol was I supposed to sell on everyone’s heads? I thought being a believer was the whole point now I just feel like a sheep. I don’t even have the 100k Ada required anymore to go straight to the treasury. The only thing I can think of that hurt worse were my kidney stones. This is the most defeated I have felt in a long time. And now I’m watching 8 months of hard work and relationship building get thrown away. Can’t get a hold of half the DReps otherwise you come off as annoying. Didn’t do a Japan tour? Good luck! I had to waste 6 days explaining to one of our top DReps why the product needs Cardano. He basically said we didn’t need to use blockchain or cardano. Instead of explaining the value we create I gotta convince our top DReps why a project chose to build on Cardano? 🤯 Im not perfect but I damn sure tried to be! Answered everyone promptly, reached out to DReps, and did our best to listen/apply feedback. I show up everyday. Can someone explain to me why I should keep trying to build here? I’ve legit lost everything but my wife who isn’t getting any happier with me. Today is the first day I work towards getting my life back. IDK exactly what that means but I’m done feeling like this for nothing.

This will migrate all jpg listings regardless of UI. Additionally, you can use Wayup for all the same actions and more! -My asset is showing as a locked item and not working? This one is typically just an issue of where you are viewing the NFTs in your profile. Try the "Listings" tab of your profile. If the problem persists, check that it is not locked in an old contract, staking, or something similar. -Do i need to make an account? Nope! You can access Wayup without an account. However, we recommend making one to take advantage of the in platform features like trading and messaging. Beyond that we have only seen massive support for us and our platform. I bought Ada in 2020 and all the way through the bull run, even after ATH. Bought NFTs, supported projects, rarely sold anything Cardano related to this day. I cashed out my life savings in 2023, during the last bear lows, and put most of it in to Cardano. I have worked to build in this ecosystem without a salary for 3 years now. I have put my own ADA up for payrolls to ensure our employees get paid. I have sacrificed everything to be here. I have always believed in Cardano. I have shown up every single day for the last 5 years. That’s why I won’t sit here quietly and watch it all burn down around me. That’s why I won’t sit around and watch the people who have lived comfortably, making none of the sacrifices I did, continue to strong arm governance because their payday is running out. Yet I see dReps and CEOs attacking the community for how they vote. Is this really what we signed up for? Governance was supposed to be our chance as a community to have a real voice and it’s being completely diminished by propaganda and bullies. Attacking people on the timeline because of how they voted is just pathetic and not the governance I signed up for I helped conceive. The system was finally showing signs of strength, pushing back against expenditures, forcing accountability from previous years, and ushering in a new era of Cardano, where the community fully decides. Unfortunately that is clearly not the reality. A few dReps hold all the power, most have their hands in or around the FEs. It’s ok. I am not as mad at the centralization of voting power. I’m mad because we aren’t being listened to. Asking for basic stuff to make an educated decision, or have fiscal clarity, is not FUD, it’s called being responsible. We should hold everyone equally accountable at this point. There should be no varying standards. And I mean this socially as well. I hope people really take a long look at where we are, how we got here, and what’s currently going on before they continue to vote. We have about half the NCL left, let’s make sure to use it extremely wisely. We can’t afford to miss. Happy Sunday!

Feature Highlight: Trading As we continue to onboard new users, we thought it would be useful to do a quick overview on a feature we previously implemented...in-app Trading! How does it work? Find the NFT/User you want to trade for/with. Select the NFTs you wish to trade from your wallet. Select the NFTs you wish to trade for. Review the Trade, Add ADA if necessary, and hit Submit once ready. Your trade has now been sent! The other user will receive a notification of the trade. Great question, quick answer: Yes, we already do. Every asset listed on jpg is also listed on Wayup as we speak, as we aggregate everything. This means even if the jpg UI shuts down, you will still be able to purchase listed assets through Wayup. Additionally, we have a built in migration button. Can be found in the Listings tab of the User Profile.
