Just noticed, Google killed @JamesIvings' @LeaveMeAloneApp. A great indie tool for cleaning up your inbox. Naturally, Google couldn't allow privacy control outside the Googleplex. API chokeholds or platform games, big tech always wins. Shame

Setting up email shouldn't suck. Shoutbox.net makes it painless — you'll be sending in no time. No waiting. No pain. Just send.

This is cool. Hack the accelerometer, hook it to your HomeBridge, and boom—you’ve got more power than Harry Potter🪄

The most impressive part is that you get this level of protection even with a free account
Not all records you’re happy about breaking: @Cloudflare recently mitigated the largest ever reported hyper-volumetric #DDoS attack. 3.8 terabits per second (Tbps) and 2.14 billion packets per second (Bpps). Handled automatically any without any customer impact. Details to come.

Crazy how small the world is 🌍 Shoutout to @d4m1n, not just for the great tweets but for unknowingly reuniting people! 😂 I replied to one of his posts and ended up reconnecting with @CollieOleshill—a classmate I hadn’t spoken to in 10 years. Dan — Connecting People

Just left the Cloudflare HQ in London. This was a big talking point today. Will be interesting to see how it unfolds

We've been building a platform for running containers on Cloudflare. It already powers Workers AI & more in production. Here's a first look at how it's built, why we built it, and how we use it. cfl.re/3N2qQ8x #BirthdayWeek

🚀 How we signed up our first 100 users without even realising it! I used to think waitlist pages were useless. But I was so wrong. When we started building shoutbox.net, I threw up a landing page just to have something there. Didn't think much of it, and honestly, forgot about it. Today, I randomly checked it… and guess what? Over 100 people signed up for our waitlist! 🎉 I still don’t know how they found us—we only told a handful of people and we ran no ads. At first, I thought it was spam, but nope—these are real people! So yeah, technically, we’ve got our first 100 users before we’ve even launched. 🙌 Lesson learned: When you start working on something, just slap up a waitlist. It’s quick, it’s easy, and you never know what might happen. 😉 P.S. I'm contemplating ways to show our appreciation when we go live. Perhaps something like a special promo code or some swag could be a nice gesture for those who've shown early interest. How would you show love to your first 100 users?

Why do all websites look the same? 🤔 Because we'd rather ship now than pixel-push forever! Ship fast, redesign later! 🚀 Here are 20 Next.js component libraries to fuel your next MVP: (thread) 🧵👇 #IndieHackers #BuildInPublic
