🚀 How we signed up our first 100 users without even realising it!
I used to think waitlist pages were useless. But I was so wrong.
When we started building
shoutbox.net, I threw up a landing page just to have something there. Didn't think much of it, and honestly, forgot about it.
Today, I randomly checked it… and guess what? Over 100 people signed up for our waitlist! 🎉
I still don’t know how they found us—we only told a handful of people and we ran no ads.
At first, I thought it was spam, but nope—these are real people!
So yeah, technically, we’ve got our first 100 users before we’ve even launched. 🙌
Lesson learned: When you start working on something, just slap up a waitlist. It’s quick, it’s easy, and you never know what might happen. 😉
P.S. I'm contemplating ways to show our appreciation when we go live. Perhaps something like a special promo code or some swag could be a nice gesture for those who've shown early interest. How would you show love to your first 100 users?
