Sadly, many parents wouldnāt agree. Reasonā¦.in HS, little Johnny has to compete for a position. In travel, you pay for one. Thatās the difference and most parents will never admit that.

The school pride.
The community.

This happens to most young kids. Please dear god, if youāre a good dude just coaching these kids so they can play LL or whatever, we appreciate you, but leave the kids alone when it comes to swing mechanics.

Many hitting coaches these days are unknowingly teaching the natural adjustability and athleticism out of hitters in an attempt to create the perfect swing. If a hitterās āswingā canāt adjust naturally and athletically, youāre making the hitter worseā¦ even though they might ālook betterā off a tee or soft toss.
