@NYCMayor I thought you were in control of the NYPD... Why are we spending another $1 BILLION in OT this year? Why is low-level enforcement still up? Why are we hiring more cops, and not firing ones like Lt. Jonathan Rivera and Wayne Isaacs who each KILLED unarmed fathers? Shame!

Repairing supportive housing units is important. But what isn't being talked about are the deep reforms needed to the supportive housing "referral" process, which plays a significant role in vacancies. Reforms to ensure enforceable anti-discrimination practices are critical.

For years, New Yorkers have been priced out of their own neighborhoods as outside investors have profited. With @CMSandyNurse's COPA legislation, when many apartment buildings go up for sale, tenants and nonprofits would have a chance to buy the building before investors.
