Google Deepmind Weather Lab has introduced a Machine Learning (ML) hurricane forecast model, which has out-performed the physics based global models in terms of track error for 2023/24. Their predictions are public and part of our guidance suite:

PS: I am not surprised a neural net is winning - I've been building them for the last 10 years, although XGBoost still wins for my event classification models :)

@nfl officiating is out of control bad.
QB throws a backwards pass. Ball bounces off receiver, in bounds, play is blown dead and signaled incomplete.
Referee announces ruling on the field was a backwards pass that went out of bounds, except ball never went out of bounds.
Carolina loses 6 yards even though receiver had plenty of time and space to advance the ball. Instead of 2nd and 10 it was 2nd and 16. And the game just goes on from there
ZERO accountability and of course the NFL mouthpiece @espn didn't bother pointing out it was a horrible call because of journalism.
CORRUPT organization gets more corrupt and nobody cares.

This year has had so many easy and obvious bad calls, it absolutely is time to hold NFL officials accountable for their job performance.
Are they still getting paid? Do they not even care if they make the right call?
Not even talking about subjective calls like pass interference. Administrative calls like this one are getting blown one after another, and this is allegedly a virtual playoff game. 🗑 🚮 🗑 🚮 🗑
