If you begin learning to code today and remain consistent for at least 6 months, you'll become a highly capable startup developer capable of building a basic Web3 DeFi apps (both the frontend and backend) Interestingly, You can start completely from scratch with no prior experience or skills in Computer Science. My recommendation is you start with Python or Java as your foundational language. These are beginner-friendly and will help you grasp core programming concepts much more easily. Solidity is currently the most widely used language in Web3 development. Majority of Web3 applications are EVM compatible. So, mastering Solidity opens doors to numerous opportunities in the space. As mentioned, start with a more approachable language like Python or Java, then transition to Solidity once you're comfortable with the fundamentals. For Python, I recommend a beginner course by Mosh Hamedani @programmingwithmosh Video: youtu.be/_uQrJ0TkZlc For Solidity, my top recommendation is a comprehensive course by Patrick Collins @PatrickAlphaC Video:youtu.be/-1GB6m39-rM You can also join Cryptozombies online Academy for a better positioning 👉 cryptozombies.io If you enjoy math, you'll likely excel as a developer. If you've ever conducted academic research, handling everything yourself including the statistical analysis, you have the mindset to become a truly world-class developer. Bottom line You do not need a formal Computer Science degree or Software Engineering background to become a skilled coder. Consistency and practice is what matters.

Hello Arc Architects and the general CT. Have you checked the recent document on how @Arc will solve the privacy concerns (one of the constraints that limits mainstream crypto adoption) ? Can you remember this statement x.com/i/status/2023016538677… from CZ @cz_binance, where he said "(Lack of) Privacy may the missing link for crypto payments adoption. Imagine, a company pays employees in crypto on-chain. With the current state of crypto, you can pretty much see how much everyone in the company is paid (by clicking the from address)" ? Arc released a document on Arc Privacy Sector(APS) which allow for running privacy-preserving system that allows developers deploy existing smart contracts with minimal modifications. •Basically, Institutions like Banks, Fintechs and others can use Arc for Payrolls, e.t.c without privacy issues. •Lending & Borrowing protocols have been struggling with Flashloans and Front-running and Arc's APS brings solution to this. Detail information about Arc privacy is in this document 👇 🔗 arc.io/privacy-whitepaper

Throwback Thursday The inaugural Arc Discord Hour Clinic hosted on 26th February this year, spotlighted Synthra Finance & Tower Exchange Good morning to you,the amazing Arc Architects nation
The first Arc Chain Build In Public Event kick-started yesterday February 26th, with Synthra Finance & Tower Exchange protocols showcasing their tech being build on Arc blockchain. It was hosted on Arc Discord server. Tower Exchange is an Ai powered Dex aggregator on Arc blockchain. Synthra Finance is a Dex that allows users to swap and provide liquidity. Both protocols leverage on Arc blockchain sub-second finality and stablecoin based gas fees. The event was lit as both projects explained technically in detail what they are building, how far they've reached so far and what's coming up next. The event was hosted by 2 Arc team members Tim @silencexlm and Mike @0xmikef and joined by a large number of audience from community members both Devs and Non-devs. I spotted Sam @samconnerone from Arc team among the audience. If you are a developer and not yet on Arc, it is time to join your fellow builders on Arc.

As the Economic Operating System (OS) of the internet, @Arc testnet supports lots of DeFi sectors. Today, i come with YIELD EARNING Protoocol building on Arc testnet, MeridianFinance @Meridian_Fi. You supply your USDC or EURC stable tokens and earn APY (returns). Yes, you earn interests while holding non-volatile assets on MeridianFinance. Something very interesting about MeridianFinance is that you can withdraw your supplied assets anytime and it arrives instantly. No lock up periods. You can test this protocol as follows: ✔️ Visit faucet.cirlce.com to request for USDC and EURC faucet ✔️Visit themeridian.finance ▪︎Connect EVM Wallet ▪︎Deposit USDC or EURC ▪︎Earn Yields ▪︎No lock-up period, instantly Withdraw your assets anytime you wish.

As a community member, there is nothing closer to seeing your little effort being appreciated by team. It just give your elbows more grease to function optimally, and more ATP production in the mitochondria of your membership such that your energy level doesn't deplete. I feel so grateful to hear a special shoutout for me from Director Community @samconnerone, and Architects Program Lead @bobbilee. Arc community team is amazing. At times, i use to wonder how the team is able to manage everyone accordingly. We are more than 2000 Architects but the team can easily tell you "this is the amazing work you did" despite the so much comitments that comes with: •Maganaging a large number of community members. •Developers spotlight events •Community calls •Other office works Shoutout to the amazing Arc community in person of Mike Ferra @0xmikef Bobbilee Hartman @bobbilee Timothy Baker @silencexlm Sam Sealy @samconnerone And the entire community team working under the hood. If you are an Architect, you can watch a full replay of Architects Check-In of last month(May) 👇 community.arc.io/home/clubs/… Enjoy your Weekend

Good crop @web3nodee!! @jerallaire was a real one for this! He sees each and everyone of you out here. It’s motivating! @arc -nation was like…
The AMA session yesterday with Jeremy Allaire @jerallaire, co-founder and CEO of Circle, was really exciting. I cropped this portion of the AMA where he applauded the over 2000 Arc Architects. It is indeed a motivation for all of us Architects and also a motivation for anyone who wants to genuinely join, build, and contribute to Arc and its community. You can watch full replay of the AMA on YouTube👇 youtube.com/live/DH_whYZlNPI

Good Morning Architects. This morning, i am travelling somewhere for an outreach. I will use the opportunity to introduce 2 of my friends (who are also attending the outreach from another base). They are Cyber Security & Software Engineers respectively. Not sure if they can code in Solidity but i'll give them detailed introduction to @Arc, and i believe they will want to join and build something that will generate good usage of the chain on mainnet. Enjoy Your Day

Good Morning @Arc Architects. Today, I would like us to look at what blockchain finality is, and how it works on Arc. Finality on blockchains basically means a state at which a transaction becomes permanent and irreversible. There are 3 types of finalities: •Probabilistic finality •Economic finality •Deterministic finality Probabilistic & Economic finalities are not 100% permanent and irreversible. Only Deterministic finality is 100% permanent and irreversible. @Arc's finality is Deterministic, meaning that transactions are 100% irreversible once confirmed. This means: ✔️Confirmed transactions on ARC cannot be reogarnized and reversed. ✔️ if a signed transaction cannot be reversed, then there is NO associated risks to the confirmed transactions especially high-value transactions involving large funds. ✔️ It also means that there is NO risks of someone with high governance power to maliciously reverse finalized transaction blocks and cancel signed transactions which can happen with Probabilistic and Economic finalities. Can you now explain Arc finality to your friends?
