There’s really no need to act like there’s not an obvious middle ground: pay people the normal rates to do the work upfront, but establish terms that allow them to get paid on the backend *IF* the film becomes a huge profitable success.

Fucking bleak that a success of one movie determines the creation of another. It makes me think of other movies that got cancelled
