Dr. Kapulkin has made significant contributions to homotopy type theory. In his Ph.D. dissertation, he solved a problem posed by Dr. Joyal. He has led efforts in developing cubical models of higher categories. He also solved a major conjecture in topological combinatorics.

In a new project funded by the @CIHR_IRSC, @_mullerlab will work with the team of neurosurgeons and neurologists at @LHSCCanada to apply these techniques to understand how the circuits of the human brain strengthen the storage of specific memories during sleep.
