We completed our parliamentary candidates visits this morning with a visit from the Conservative candidate for Chesterfield- @Ben_Flook who came in for assembly.
He then met with the House Captains and discussed a variety of issues.

We were very fortunate to have an assembly this week with Labour’s parliamentary candidate for North-East Derbyshire this week.
@Louise_E_Jones came in to talk to the children and then met with our online safety group- the iVengers to discuss a host of issues.

The children were excellent earlier at the regional Lower Junior football finals.
They both did superbly and one of the teams made it all the way to the final.
Throughout it all, their behaviour and attitude was exceptional.

We had a wonderful visit from @Lee4NED this morning!
He spoke to the children in assembly before meeting with the @WHPEco Committee to discuss environmental issues.

We’ve had a wonderful European Championships Day at school!
The children have taken part in flag naming competitions, penalty shoot-out fun and have made a wonderful art instillation using coins from all over the world!

Classes from Y2 played one another in games full of smiles and enjoyment.

Toughest engagement so far in #GeneralElection2024 , @whpri inviting candidates from Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire to address the assembly and to be quizzed by the school Council.
Some great questions and very impressive Makaton communication too.

In the run up to the election, we will be having assemblies from the candidates from the two main parties for both the North-East Derbyshire and Chesterfield constituencies.
