one thing i wish western superhero cinema understood more is that style and panache count for a LOT more than scale and spectacle when it comes to pleasing a crowd. This little transformation is more thrilling than any Marvel "suit up" moment I've seen since the first Iron Man.

As someone who is sympathetic to a lot of the arguments against AI art, IMO one of the worst possible outcomes of the whole debate would be for someone's "style" to become something legally copyrightable. It would open a huge can of worms.

To be clear, I think the way programs like Midjourney scrape art to train on is... ethically murky at best (I also think the next gen of serious AI image generators will be more responsibly sourced)
