I spent every day inside the courtroom while Sippi remained outside the courthouse from 2am until 6pm documenting everything happening beyond the courtroom doors. When the trial concluded and the gag order was lifted, I was given the exclusive opportunity to conduct Jeff Metcalf’s first interview. Jeff chose to give that interview to me. This account then clipped a portion of that interview from the JinxSip podcast where I did the interview, removed their watermark, and stripped Jeff’s comments of the context that explained why he said them. That edited clip has now generated more than 2 million views. Independent reporting requires an enormous investment of time, effort, and resources. It’s frustrating to see original work repackaged without credit, especially when it alters the meaning of what was actually said. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I wasn’t going to say anything … but I’m pretty fed up with this.

When the Karmelo Anthony / Austin Metcalf story first broke many people tried to smear me as a “racist” for accurately describing how the black community was/would be reacting. Most didn’t understand what we’re up against. They were naive enough to believe that the people defending Karmelo and attacking Austin’s family just had a “difference of opinion” because they didn’t have all the facts yet. They thought that once provided with all of the facts they would understand Karmelo was in the wrong. They also made the mistake of believing that the people supporting Karmelo were just a few bad apples on the internet and that his “innocence” wasn’t a wide spread belief amongst many in the black community. But I knew better. Now people are waking up to everything I was calling out when this story first broke. The facts of this case do not matter to these people at all. The only thing that matters to them is that Karmelo is black and Austin is white. Not only do they not think Karmelo was wrong they actually relish in the fact that he killed a White kid. If Austin was black they would’ve never said a single word about this case. Karmelo’s support isn’t scattered in the wind amongst a few radicals on social media. His support goes all the way down to the core of the black community. Look around and you will see Politicians, Celebrities, and Community Leaders all speaking out in support of Karmelo. And not a single one of them shows any sympathy for Austin who was murdered or his family who lost a son/twin brother. I think this trial and the reaction to it has been an eye opening experience for some who simply could not comprehend the amount of hatred these people have for White people. They will literally kill your kids. Celebrate it. Accuse you of being racist for wanting justice. And then play victim. In that order.
