Craig Wright was just denied permission to appeal the UK court decision declaring him not to be Satoshi Nakamoto. He thus remains the only human with that distinction; legally speaking, we are all (potentially) Satoshi, except Craig Wright.

Wright's application was, as usual, full of misrepresentations and irrelevant bluster, but the Court of Appeal cut through it like a hot knife through butter and comprehensively rejected it as totally without merit.

COPA vs CSW – 01 Nov 2024
We are back at the Rolls Building in London, for another hearing with Justice Mellor. In the courtroom is the Bird & Bird legal team, along with their KC Mr Jonathan Hough. The session is expected to start in 3 minutes. We believe the hearing is about a contempt of court application from Bird & Bird against CSW, in relation to possible breaches of the injunction which resulted from the main trial.

There's no need to dox yourself with revealing questions as long as your repayments are roughly in those ranges; you're fine and everything is going according to plan, don't worry.

If you have questions like "why didn't I get 21% of my BTC?", then read my explainer on the payouts and the unit of account that payout rates refer to.
Long story short: it's complicated, and the actual payout number you presumably care about is 15-16%.

Today we hope to see determined what the consequences for Wright will be for the judgment's findings against him.
Court starts in 90 minutes, at 10:30, and the courthouse is open now. Hope to meet many of you in Court 15.

As far as I know everything is fine with MtGox. The trustee is moving coins to a different wallet in preparation of the distribution that will likely happen this year, there is no imminent sale of bitcoins happening.

Just got off the phone with my Norwegian lawyer.
CRAIG WRIGHT DROPPED THE APPEAL IN NORWAY!
My win from 2022 is now final and enforceable.
This case started May 19th, 2019 and lasted until today.
I’m very happy!
Now I just need to get the UK case dismissed/won and I can finally move on.

#Faketoshi created RCJBR HOLDING PLC on October 3, after his firing from nChain. He issued 20 million shares, assigning each share a nominal value of £1. Of these, 10 million shares were his.
On the dawn of the COPA trial on February 5, he transferred all his shares to DEMORGAN PTE. LTD., formerly DENARIUZ PTE. LTD., a Singaporean company founded in 2013 (opengovsg.com/corporate/2013…).

Filing to reassign assets overseas immediately after he lost the trial and backdating the transfers to the start date of the trial. Chef's kiss.
Who knows whether the assets are actually real or not, but just the *optics* of this pretty much dug his hole a hundred feet deeper.

(The registrations do claim the 20M shares are valued at £1 each and fully paid for with cash, but it's not like Wright hasn't falsely reported company assets before — it's kind of his thing.)
