It takes a special kind of anti-science to argue against the Gardasil vaccine.
I have zero allegiance to the manufacturerābut the evidence is clear: it prevents HPV infection and reduces cancer risk at the population level. Thatās not marketing. Thatās data.
Opposing it isnāt some edgy contrarian stanceāitās advocating against a proven cancer prevention tool.
I genuinely struggle to understand the anti position. At some point, you have to ask: what outcome are you actually rooting for?

Itās striking to see the Secretary position himself as an authority on infectious diseases while misrepresenting basic virology.
Infection with #Varicella (the virus that causes chickenpox) leads to lifelong latency in the dorsal root ganglia. With age, stress, or immunosuppression, the virus can reactivate as Herpes Zoster.
This is a well-established biological process and has nothing to do with #vaccination.

āWhen the CDC was thinking about mandating the chickenpox vaccine for your children, they did a study.
The person they hired to do that study was a scientist named Gary Goldman, who did a long-term study in California.
What he found is that if you give the chickenpox vaccine, mass vaccinate, it stops chickenpox, but causes shingle epidemics later on; which is 20x deadlier.
Despite those studies, we mandated for American children in this country, but in Europe they donāt.
If you go to the British National Health Service website right now, you can read that it will say, āWe do not recommend chickenpox vaccines because it causes shingles epidemics later onā¦ and thatās the problem.
