Though not totally confirmed, this is what I have on my end so far for the Vikings' schedule: Week 1 — at Packers Week 2 — at Bears Week 3 — Week 4 — vs. Dolphins Week 5 — Week 6 — Bye Week 7 — Week 8 — Week 9 — Week 10 — Week 11 — at 49ers (SNF) Week 12 — Week 13 — Week 14 — Week 15 — Week 16 — Week 17 — at Jets Week 18 — vs. Bears

Have opened at home just twice in the last 5 years and not since 2023. Even though ATL was the home opener (Week 2) last year, they are an attractive option for this year ... Stefanski, Tua vs. Flores, lots of offensive firepower.

Interesting visual illustration of current state of OL for each NFL team. Curious to know what Vikings analysts / fans think of Brandel's rating ... chance MIN cracks the top 10 if that is adjusted to the positive. @BryantMckinnie @BleavNetwork @FDSportsbook

What started as a trip to talk to the rookies ended with a Ring of Honor surprise. A well-deserved recognition after a legendary career for @AdrianPeterson.

Nonsense. Was around Rob every day for 15 yrs & can assure you there’s no bigger “football guy” in the building. Exemplary steward of the org since ‘99 w/ demonstrated expertise in cap management, negotiation, roster construction, FB ops & league rules.
All due respect to Rob B. He’s an extension of ownership. For better or worse. Vikings fans should demand a football guy in that seat.

On the Jonathan Greenard trade… • Never want to trade good players UNLESS there’s a plan • Succession plan WAS in place • Dallas Turner ready to start after a big Year-2 jump (8.0 sacks, 4 FFs) • Greenard wanted a raise/extension ($25M/yr) with 2 years left • Vikings clear ~$12.25M in ’26 cap space and $22.3M in ’27 • Added two 3rd-rounders ('26 & '27) to refill the cupboard • Allows Flores to lean into a younger, high-upside edge rotation Tough to see a talent like Greenard go, but moving on from a guy wanting $25M/year when you have a 1st-round stud waiting is just sound business

Well said
Rob Brzezinski on the Jonathan Greenard trade: "He's an impact player. It's something we understand is not making the Minnesota Vikings a better team today. But there's a lot of factors involved, and particularly with the economics, we were able to reach a resolution that made sense for the Vikings. We're going to miss him. We're happy he was able to get himself a new contract, but this is not something we're jumping around excitedly about. We did feel like it was the best thing for the organization moving forward."

A very Scott Studwell-type of draft, if you will.
I told you Rob Brzezinski was going to build this team this way. These aren’t flashy pics, but they will win you games.

Think iOL makes sense next for Vikings, but there's good depth there right now. Maybe dip into the WR-TE-CB population now and rely on depth of the board for a C / iOL tomorrow?

This is why it makes sense for the Vikings to address DT twice early in this draft. @BleavNetwork in Vikings, presented by @FDSportsbook podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

The Vikings now have nine top-100 picks in the 2026 and 2027 drafts, while saving over $34M in cap space. Meanwhile, the Eagles get a pass rusher who was a Pro Bowl pick in 2024.
Trade! The Vikings are sending edge Jonathan Greenard to the Eagles for two third-round draft picks, sources say. Minnesota gets No. 98 overall and a 2027 3rd, while Philadelphia gets Greenard and No. 244.
