a little disheartening to see just how many people working in film believe that sharing in the fruits of your labor is some kind of absurdity. like below the line workers only getting their daily rate is an immutable law of the universe and to ask for more is laughable
I worked as a Production Assistant on The Amazing Spider-Man 2. I made $125/day for roughly a week or two, standing on street corners in Manhattan, getting yelled at by angry pedestrians. As we all know, that movie grossed about $700 million dollars.
Where's my cut of that????
