ALT Our newest book was pulled by a third party (without whose consent it could not be published) at the very last minute, after I refused to remove the words “wants a free Palestine” from my personal bio. It was then decided that the press was too “political leaning”.5 words in a bio are apparently more “shocking” than a genocide that is taking place in plain sight.Speaking up is important. Looking away is a luxury. We have long passed the point of niceties and shallow politeness. Human rights should not be contentious, yet here we are.We don´t deserve peace or freedom any more than the Palestinian people, or the people in Congo, Sudan, Lebanon, Syria or Iran, to just name a few. And we are all one step away from more wars, thanks to our warmongering, deeply racist governments, who don´t put value on any lives but their own, who try to silence everyone who wants peace and a just world and everyone who believes that never again really means never again for every human being.
