This Lakers-Rockets series is a great example of why coaching is so pivotal in the league and especially in the playoffs. Ime Udoka is largely a player motivator and disciplinarian that embeds solid team principles. When the stakes are the highest however, he’s dramatically losing the Xs and Os battle against Redick. Motivation can only take you so far.
