Well, hearing aids fitted, I’ve clearly spent the last 20-30yrs on mute….. suddenly the world’s volume has been turned up to 11 !!
Guaranteed headache by the end of today! 😂🤦♂️

Well, after a few decades of dogs barking in my ears, being far too close to training day booby trap explosions (and one thanks to the IRA) along with three fairly serious head injuries (explains a lot). I have finally admitted I need hearing aids. Fitting tomorrow 😱.

Had a wander along Slough High street while waiting for an eye appointment. Used to work here very often as a GP Dog Handler, place was always rough now it’s a semi derelict shithole. Sir John Betjeman was before his time! 😂

I need to complain. The Red Arrows have just done a display. Not only did they leave red white and blue chemtrails everywhere @TakeThatClouds but also did the entire display behind these trees! I’m outraged! To whom do I complain? (2 were in view briefly but I missed the pic 🙄)

Well that’s my excitement for the day! Sat in Costa, bloke picks up a tray with two coffees on it, walks passed me carrying tray one handed goes to sit outside and as he puts tray on table still one handed I thought “he’s going to drop that”. Guess what? I have super powers!!

Soooo GD2 doing things that two yr olds do has pulled down a bit of Easter decs, knocking an ornament off a high shelf onto her head 😱. Quick trip to the urgent care unit. No drama apart from a small cut and accompanying lump 🙄

Mid morning is time for GD2’s nap. Once the struggle to get her in the pram is over I take her for a walk. Sunshade placed over the pram hood to keep visual cues to a minimum with as little eye contact as possible. For Mile after mile I get a running commentary of every sound 1/3
