Let me get this straight.
Even if India built the Claude or SpaceX, our own people would have dragged us down.
Try building one product and selling it in India, you will see it.
When things get sold by whites the perceptive value is so strong, which makes the trust as a default.
Many founders are facing these issues, maybe some would accept it.
Let's try to build and consume Indian products first.
Let the good ones become great first, maybe there lies another golden global brand from India.

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

🚨 Bengaluru Metro has dropped one proposed station on 37-km Hebbal–Sarjapur corridor to reduce project costs & expedite central approval.
The revised Phase 3A project cost has been cut to Rs 25,999 crore from Rs 28,405 crore.
BMRCL has also roped in IIT Roorkee to study the impact of end-to-end double-deckers after @MoHUA_India raised concerns.

There are tons of free models. A developer at 8 LPA should build a portfolio using them. You don’t need to single shot your idea if you’ve to up-skill. You have to learn to prompt, apply skills, build testing infra and free models can help you do that.

For a techie making ₹8 LPA in India, a $100/month Claude Max plan is almost 15% of their monthly salary.
The rupee keeps falling, so these tools just keep getting pricier.
At some point, this is going to hurt Indian IT and techies badly. And it is not like there is a Pradhan Mantri Ladla techie Labh Yojana coming to save anyone.
