Dynamic Date Range filter is a powerful, but often overlooked feature of SAP Analytics Cloud. Let’s have a look at how this works in SAC and check out the new “Rest of” range type. youtu.be/IOq6vcUh9bo?si=ne7X…

Really disappointed that, as a developer in the EU, there's now an entire suite of features and capabilities I can't support for users of my apps... Instead of building a level playing field, this basically makes it harder for EU-based dev to build cutting-edge apps. Well done, @EU_Commission #wwdc

Damn, even the iPhone 17 is not enough?! 🤯
Many advanced features may be restricted to newer models, such as iPhone Air, 17 Pro, and Macs with M3. #Apple #WWDC #WWDC26

This raccoon is the real hero of the #WWDC event so far! Dirty Mille has been the one invading my backyard. Pesky but pretty raccoon....

Logging a SAP case (OSS incident) is exactly like talking to an AI Agent.... Every reply you get you need to check yourself again & keep challenging. Me: I have issue X SAP: This is by design. As workaround you can do XYZ Me: I don't want to do XYZ, I think this is a clear gap in your design. XYZ will cause other issue ABC. Your product documentation says you can do X. SAP: I'll investigate and update you SAP: Thank you for reaching out. I checked and the behavior is intentional and designed by default. There are 2 potential workarounds, XYZ and ZYX. Me: Can you then please document this as a product limitation? SAP: Understand your concern and will check SAP: Need more time to discuss internally SAP: Escaling this to development SAP: Thank your reporting your issue, we are reviewing the issue. SAP: We can confirm this issue is by design and move this to resolved state Me: <explain again> SAP: I'd like to setup a MS teams call to discuss this with you Me: Ok. As just dicussed on MS teams, looking for your feedback. SAP: Hi I'm from developer team D, I see this behavior and will discuss internally SAP: I am moving your ticket to team E SAP: I understand the product behavior can be confusing. After discussing internally we will try to make it more clearer in documentation. SAP: We are working on a the documentation and get back to you once it's ready.

"Story events" are finally coming... Very welcome but wrong technical solution approach if you ask me... there should have been a more central model event (to trigger a multi-/data action after publish) because publishing/chaning data will happen in many other places. roadmaps.sap.com/innovations…

.@SAP rolled out massive changes at #SAPSapphire this week, and I got to talk w/ CTO Philipp Herzig about many of those shifts, particularly what it means for the company's vast portfolio that SAP is moving beyond applications into #AI. #CloudWars cloudwars.com/innovation-lea…

"Data Validations" now also appear on the SAC roadmap. Just 2 months ago I've build a whole (workaround) approach for this exactly in a customer project. 😅 Glad to see this is coming as a standard feature. roadmaps.sap.com/innovations…

At #SAPSapphire 2026, the main theme was the Autonomous Enterprise. Among the announcements was SAP Enterprise Planning, embedding Joule Agents into SAP Analytics Cloud on top of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC). The architecture combines BDC governed data products with SAC planning models. Agents interpret signals, model KPI impact, simulate scenarios, recommend actions, and orchestrate workflows with built-in governance. Approved decisions then trigger automatic plan/budget/forecast updates. General availability planned for Q3 2026.

The most honest AI post of 2026: "'I finally found a use for AI in Datasphere' It's not predicting the future or auto-generating reports.... but simply using Copilot to INSERT Danish 'januar' (and 20 other languages) into a hardcoded SQL function — because SAP Datasphere time dimensions decided (for 2 years already) to only speak EN/ES/FR/DE as a ridiculous restriction. These are the real world AI wins in Enterprise software... Brilliant. 🤪 community.sap.com/t5/technol…

😍New on the 'Finance Intelligence' SAP Roadmap: a group financial statement app (SAC story) based on BDC datamodel representing S/4 group reporting logic... Highly needed! 🥳 Let's hope this makes the Q1 2027 timeline and hope for no obvious/ridiculous limitations. roadmaps.sap.com/innovations…
