Effective teachers don't focus so much on rules, but more on relationships, routines, & expectations. If you focus mainly on rules, you will spend most of the year enforcing them. But if you focus on relationships, routines, & expectations, you rarely have to defer back to rules.
If teachers are losing the drive to do more, sometimes it can be the #leaders have failed to provide the right environment for them to be lifted and continued to be inspired. #educhat

I might be wrong. #Science Ts often ask for PD on assessing conceptual understanding of topics. But for #Math, we seem to be more concerned on students’ accuracy and speed in their answers. Is the assessment mode that has shaped the discrepancy? #edchat
