Building StartupDrafter.com Alright I've finally managed to finish the changes from the beta. Now will contact the same users to do another test run and then will include others from the waitlist. - Updated the landing page - Updated the pricing to only have 1 tier - I had the landing page in Vercel and now moved it to a Hetzner VPS alongside the other parts. - Improved document generation and the UI I had myself a deadline for EOW to get it done and finally did it :) #buildinpublic #startups

A fun thing I built for StartupDrafter.com recently: I extended Playwright with OpenAI so our E2E tests can actually read and evaluate AI-generated content. In our case, we generate business plans. Traditional tests can verify that a plan was generated, but they can't tell you whether the output is any good. Now the test suite can review generated plans and flag issues like: - Missing sections - Inconsistencies - Weak explanations - Quality regressions It feels weird at first, using AI to test AI, but it's been surprisingly useful. Yesterday I wired up a live E2E benchmark for StartupDrafter. Playwright OpenAI. Signs up like a new user, reads the landing page, pitches a startup idea, runs the founder interview, waits for the business plan to generate, then smoke-tests the workspace. When the run finishes, a review agent scores the interview, plan output, UI, and doc quality — and writes a report I can actually read. Today I’m giving Fable a shot at reviewing the codebase. Trying to get back to building. This week's goal is to finish the changes for StartupDrafter.com, reconnect with my beta testers, and reach out to more founders. Today, I wrapped up the implementation for an IoT project. Next up: setting up the AWS staging environment. I also noticed that BTM.istanbul applications have opened, with an August 2nd deadline. I'm considering starting a new project for the application and documenting the entire journey here. It's been hard to focus lately, but it feels good to be shipping again. #buildinpublic

On Thursday, my fluffy pair programming partner, Tucci, passed away. He was the best, most special boy, and a huge part of my life for years. He was there through countless late nights, side projects, bugs, and launches, so it's been harder than I expected to focus on building. I'm giving myself some time to grieve, so things may be a little slower for a while. I'll be back to shipping soon. Hug your pets a little tighter today ❤️

Still working on the feedbacks I received from the beta of StartupDrafter.com I do enjoy the new dashboard format based on the context graph and my beta testers also said it's much better than the document based UI. Need to update the landing page today as well. Goal is to finish the update by the end of the week and do another test with the beta users and expand the better tester list. #buildinpublic

Been working on StartupDrafter.com beta feedback. Ended up changing the product flow completely. Instead of focusing on docs in the app, I've created a context-graph for the business plan. Changed the UI to be a dashboard which is easier to consume with summarised sections. Core business logic now can be used to export the docs. Still more work to do but hopefully will finish the changes this week and go back to the beta testers and see what they think of the new version. #buildinpublic

Today started a private beta for startupdrafter.com 3 users tried it and the initial feedback: -interview flow is great. Much better than talking with chatgpt or Claude. - too much content output, better to have the core business to review and the be able to export documents when needed. - business plan is solid but needs more detailed financials. - would have been good to have a functionality to generate the app. Weekend plan is to address the content output and see if I can make the process leaner. Instead of focusing on the docs, focus on the business and be able to generate docs when needed. Feedback about generating the startup is actually making a lot of sense. I think once I have the core done, that feels like the next step

My feed is swamped with Polsia... Just checked it out and went for it to suggest me an idea. Researched me and came up with a very non related thing. Maybe I need to try it with a proper idea... trustpilot.com/review/polsia… Checked trustpilot and I can understand some of the complaints. Is anyone using it? Would love to hear how it went for you.
